Hunter Riley has become a very familiar face on the ACT 2 stage. He’s appeared in our last three shows in a variety or roles. In What The Bellhop Saw he portrays an accountant whose bellhop brother has arranged for him to have a tryst with his secretary in the Presidential Suite of an upscale hotel. We asked him what it is about theatre that keeps him coming back. Here’s what he had to say:
I’ve always favored the theatrical world of acting. I’ve acted in several musicals and plays over the years. The most recent have been ACT 2 theatre productions—The Fantastics, Holy Cannoli, and Polterguest. I’ve been acting since I was 8-years-old. My earlier theatre days consist of; A Million Cats, School House Rock, and a church Christmas production.
Later, at Robert C. Byrd High School, I truly started breaking out into acting, getting lead roles and supporting roles in Grease, Guys and dolls, Beauty and The Beast, and Little Shop of Horrors. I also enjoy other performing arts. And I delight in drawing and playing musical instruments.
Come see Hunter in this hilariously funny farce. See our Show Info page for details.
