Auditions are coming up for our fall show—Stone Touchin’ by Donald Fidler.
STONE TOUCHIN’ takes place in a North Carolina Piedmont rural cemetery in 1955 a young boy named Howard Lee has a unique ability. He is able to touch grave stones and hear the deceased speak their stories and, at times, talk with them. Come with Howard Lee as the living and the dead uncover secrets, confess frustrations, and ponder tragedies to reveal a small community’s heart and soul.
The play will be performed for live audiences October 15-18, 22-25, 2015.
Open auditions are slated for August 22 at 10:30 a.m. and August 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Friedlander’s Center downtown Clarksburg. (Location of the Starving Artists Studio).
Director Lydia Mong is also holding private auditions by appointment before open auditions.
Roles are available for a boy (age 10-14), 3 men, and 3 women.
