Jordan Kennedy Rea is in her third production with ACT 2 Theater Company. Premiering in Eleemosynary as Echo, Jordan began her love of strictly acting roles in 2013. This past fall she was seen in The Fantastiks as the Mute. Being in Set Me Free is another learning experience as an actor and a young woman. Jordan states:
“This show is a huge eye opener for me. I never experienced anything like what the characters I have to portray have felt. I think everyone should see this show, but especially people/girls my age because of the message.”
Finding her way to Broadway is Jordan’s dream. She studies voice with Pam Krall’s Musical Studio and dance at Altered Productions, Inc. Auditioning and performing as much as possible challenges Jordan in various ways. Her musical theater experience includes Ariel in The Little Mermaid, An Indian in Peter Pan, Marigold in Mountain Mother Goose, and a Who in Seussical the Musical as well as a host of other smaller productions. Jordan hopes to continue expanding her education in music, dance, and theater. She appreciates all the “teachers” who have influenced her throughout her process thus far including Stephen Pishner, Pam Krall, Rita Brockway, Jerry McKeen, Jason Young, RJ Nester, Fran Kirk, Bethany Kalalua, and most recently, Cricket Hall.
Jordan will attend half days at Bridgeport High School in the fall and continue the rest of her education at home. She also attends classes sponsored by Learning Options, Inc. where she enjoys book discussions, art projects, academic classes, and friendships. Reading, cosplay, piano, and drawing are some hobbies Jordan enjoys in her free time when she is not acting, singing, and dancing.
Jordan hopes to see lots of her friends and family at the show!!
