Misty Wills is making her debut with ACT 2 playing a very mean character. You’d think that would be hard for someone who is so nice, but she shows her natural talent playing against type as Arlene in What The Bellhop Saw. Not everyone who has the acting bug can take a professional route, and community theatre provides a creative outlet for them. It’s working out that way for Misty. She’s has had the desire to perform for a long time. As she told us…
I grew up in a small community just west of Clarksburg, I knew at a young age that I would be a performer of some sort. I began on stage in Christmas and Easter programs for our church. At the age of 16 I realized I was already the entertainer I had always hoped to be. Now as a mother of 2 teenagers I am able to chase my dreams in theatre.
This opportunity has been a very rewarding and fulfilling one for I have learned so much from the other actors and coaches. If laughter is indeed the best medicine, then I shall be healthy for a long time thanks to this wonderful experience. Although this is my ACT 2 debut, I am sure it is only the beginning of my adventure.
We sure hope so, Misty! We look forward to seeing you at future ACT 2 auditions!
