Doug Seckman (El Gallo) Doug most recently appeared in our production of Holy
Cannoli
as Sal. He teaches English at Lewis County High School where he also directs the spring musicals. He has a B.A. in Theatre from WV Wesleyan College and education degree from Glenville State College. He has been involved with numerous shows. Some of his favorite roles include Eeyore (The ManyAdventuresofWinniethePooh) Jim Bayliss (AllMySons), Greg (A Chorus Line), Himself (The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged]), Judas (Godspell), Baker (Into the Woods), and Narrator (The Rocky Horror Show).

Bekah James (Luisa) is a student at Bridgeport High School where she has appeared in productions of High School Musical (Kelsey), Annie (Annie), Alice in Wonderland (Cheshire Cat), and All Shook Up (Lorraine). With Fairmont State University summer theatre, Bekah played Monroe in The Fabulous Fable Factory and Amy March in Little Women. She appeared as Jojo in the WV Public Theatre production of Seussical: The Musical. She is an acting student at the Vintage Theatre Company LLC Academy where she also studies voice with Joshua A. Stubbs.

Dan Hawkins (Matt) This is Dan’s debut with ACT 2 Theatre Company. He has as B.A. in Theatre and A. S. in Graphics Technology from Fairmont State University. In 2007, Dan was prop assistant for Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre production of The Fantasticks. His favorite theatre roles include The Bald Soprano (The Firechief), My Big Phat Geek Wedding (JR Cohen), Dulcitius (Diocletian), Everyman (Five Wits), and Heist of Seven Fishes (Detective Dewey). Dan also enjoys taking art classes with the Starving Artist.

Hunter Riley (Bellamy) Hunter made his ACT 2 debut and appeared most recently as Doug in Polterguest. He appeared recently in Holy Cannoli as Anthony. Last spring he also appeared as the sadistic dentist, Orin Scrivello, in Little Shop of Horrors at Robert C. Byrd High School. “I always loved acting and hope to pursue it professionally someday.”

Rich Stull (Hucklebee) This is Rich’s debut appearance with the ACT 2 Theatre Company. He began doing theatre at Liberty High School where he played L.A. in Gypsy. Other theatre credits include The Fantasticks (Matt) and Joseph Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph) at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa. He also appeared in the title role in Aladdin at Walt Disney World.

Phyl Charnes (Henry) is, as one fan posted to our website, “a consummate actress.” She’s appeared in numerous plays with many theatre groups in WV and in the Pittsburgh area. Among her favorite roles are Thelma in ‘Night Mother, Ethel in On Golden Pond, Lil in Kindertransport, Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, and Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit. Her most recent ACT 2 role was as Dorothea in Eleeomosynary. Phyl is a 2-time best actress winner in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. She’s also one of the busiest people we’ve ever known. She teaches English at Fairmont State University, summer theatre classes at Salem International University, and various swim classes at the YMCA, is a competitive masters swimmer, and has traveled to at least 50 countries.

Callia Byard (Mortimer) Callia’s theatre credits include Oliver! with the Buckhannon Community Theater, The Little Mermaid Junior (Sebastian) and Alice in Wonderland Junior with Bridgeport Middle School, and Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz and Mr. Popper and his Performing Penguins with Younglove Productions, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with the Mountaineer Creative Arts council. She also is a member of OpeningAct Show Choir and the Pandemonium Steel Drum Band at BMS. She studies acting at the Vintage Theatre Company LLC Academy where she also studies voice with Joshua A. Stubbs.

Jordan Kennedy Rea (The Mute) made her ACT 2 debut as Echo in Eleemosynary. She played Ariel in The Little Mermaid Junior at Bridgeport Middle School last spring. Other credits include Mountain Mother Goose (Marigold) and Seussical the Musical (Who #2). She has performed in many Missoula Children’s Theater productions, the Florence Chico Cann Italian Heritage Festival Choir and was cast as a Tribute in API’s production of District 12. She is the daughter of Stephenie Kennedy and Julie Rea of Clarksburg. She is a student at Pam Krall’s Musical Studio (voice), Altered Productions, Inc. (dance), and cantors at All Saints Catholic Church. When Jordan is not acting, singing, or dancing you may find her crafting, reading or spending time with her friends.
