Cecilia Rae Cotton to play Carly in “..pretty”

Looking as pretty as ever, Cecilia Rae Cotton will soon be working with us again in reasons to be pretty.

Cee Cee is thrilled to be back on stage with ACT 2. She began her love for the theatre in 2001 when she was a member of the chorus in ACT 2’s production of Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. She studied dance for several years with Michele Kish School of Dance and the Momentum Center and also developed her singing voice by participating in school choirs, the Chanticleer Children’s Chorus, and the Italian Festival’s Francis Chico Cann Children’s Chorus.

When she reached high school, Cee Cee was a member of the Radiant Rhythm Show Choir and the RCB Dance Team. In 2010 she got her first leading role— “Tiffany Houston” in Back To The 80’s. Thereafter, she played the roles of “Sandy” in Grease (2011) and most recently “Miss Adelaide” in Guys and Dolls (2012). She was also in the ensemble of Our Town and Happy Days with the Harrison County Summer Theatre Program.

Cee Cee received the Promise Scholarship for her academic achievements at Robert C. Byrd High School and now attends Fairmont State University where she was accepted into the highly competitive Nursing Program. When she’s not on stage or in school, she works as a Barista at Starbuck’s at Eastpointe in Clarksburg. She wants to thank Beau Bowden for this amazing opportunity, and her friends and family for their constant love and support.
