We’re excited to announce March 21-24 for the dates of an evening a short plays about people who need people which will be presented in partnership with the Fairmont State University’s theatre department.
For the first part of the evening we present Save Me a Place at Forest Lawn, the story of Clara and Gertrude (portrayed by Phyl Charnes and Francene Kirk), two life-long friends who still meet for lunch everyday to talk about grandchildren, widowhood, their early life, and their ultimate destination. During this particular lunch, one of them reveals a secret and gets a surprise of her own.
Intermission features our traditional free desserts.
The latter part of the program presents the work of student directors from Fairmont State College. Upside Down Relationship Cake is a collection of 8 very short plays about the strange and various turns relationships can take.
Tickets will be available at the door, $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
